NetBox version

v4.5.3

Feature type

New functionality

Proposed functionality

I'd love to have a way for the Rack Elevations page to display the Site for each Rack. Also, for multiple racks at the same site, the page could indicate that with boxes around the racks.

I realize that one might want to see the rack Locations or other categorization in this manner. Perhaps this request could be handled by more dynamic view customization options on the Rack Elevations page, that way more people are happy.

Use case

Currently when viewing the rack elevations page unfiltered or with some filter other than a single Site, it can become quite confusing to tell which site's rack you are looking at. This especially happens when naming for the racks is the same across sites.
