Hi! Primary maintainer of pgBackRest here. I read your pgBackRest comparison at https://postgresus.com/postgresus-vs-pgbackrest and found it thoughtful, accurate, and comprehensive. There was just one thing I noticed: the storage options for pgBackRest were not quite right. It should read:

  • Local storage (POSIX, CIFS)
  • Amazon S3 and S3-compatible services
  • Cloudflare R2 (though, really, that's included in the above)
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • NAS (Network-attached storage)
  • Google Cloud Storage
  • SFTP
