Explain in detail what your suggested feature would be used for.
It'll be useful for making new friends (like, "holy shit, you know [blank]? that's awesome!), remembering people you've added a long time ago by seeing who else was with you, seeing if anyone you know knows a specific person (useful for moderation or conversation).

Describe how it would look if it requires a UI.
It'll probably just be another section on the Info tab on a user's profile, displaying like a list of mutual friends like

Mutual friends
Tupper (Online)
Fax (Offline)
etc.

if there are no mutuals you can either just not display the list or just display a "-" like every other empty field
