Explain in detail what your suggested feature would be used for.

add ability for other apps to create events in game log

Explain why people would want to use it.
for example it would be nice to have "sleep mode enabled"/"sleep mode disabled" from oyasumi

there already is event type "external" but i couldn't find any info about it so idk if it's what i'm looking for
