Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

Note: I am aware #1159 exists, but this seems like a very different error.

This is the second time I noticed this and decided to make an issue.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Try updating vrcx (in my case its setup to be automatic)
Reboot the app
In my case i dont even get an error, if i launch it from my terminal i get

exec format error: ./VRCX.AppImage

using type will reveal its a zlib archive.

Expected behavior
VRCX updates fine and drops an updated appimage.

Before: Version 2025.08.17
Attempted update to: 2025.09.10

System info:

EndevourOS (Arch Linux)
Kernel: Linux 6.16.5-zen1-1-zen
