Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.3.2

Operating System (OS)

macOS

OS Version

macOS 15

Additional system information

No response

Printer

Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro

How to reproduce

  1. Add part with counterbore hole
  2. Enable "Bridge counterbore holes"
  3. Set to "Sacrificial layer"
  4. Add modifyer and have it touch the part
  5. Change any setting (even one that doesn't cause any change)

Actual results

The sacrificial bridging layer will have the extended hole in it

Expected results

A full sacrificial bridging layer

Project file & Debug log uploads

testproject.3mf.zip

Checklist of files to include

  • Log file
  • Project file

Anything else?

For this test project I have changed "Fuzzy skin" from "painted" to "disabled" to showcase the most extreme situation. I have not painted any fuzzy skin, so the change should not influence the print in any way.

It does not matter which setting I change in what way, as soon as any change is done using modifier geometry the bridging layer breaks.
