Is there an existing issue for this feature request?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Temperature tower calibration settings do not allow for a custom filament up which will print at temperatures greater than 350C. I am using a custom printer profile for the Vision Miner IDEX22 high temp printer. This printer can print up to 500C and I am attempting to do some calibrations for the filaments but each test says that I can only print between 180C and 350C. The materials I am using require up to 450 C.

Currently i am left to slice the g-code and then manually change the temp to a higher setpoint in a text editor.

Which printers will be beneficial to this feature?

Others

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like there to be an increased temperature cap on the temperature tower. If there is a setting in the printer settings that would allow you to set min/max nozzle temperatures so that it can be tuned per printer that would be better.
