Is there an existing issue for this feature request?

I have searched the existing issues

In Manual Filament Change mode, the slicer pauses and prompts the user to change filament, but it does not clearly indicate which filament/color should be inserted next.

This creates ambiguity, especially in:

Multi-color prints
Sequential manual swaps
Complex layer-based color changes

Users must manually track the sequence, which increases error probability.

Which printers will be beneficial to this feature?

All

Describe the solution you'd like

Add a clear indication of the next required filament during manual filament change prompts.

Suggested implementations:

Display Filament Name / Color / Material in the pause dialog

Example:

Insert Filament: Red PLA (Extruder 1)
Highlight upcoming filament in:
Preview slider (layer change markers)
Toolpath legend
Optional: show a timeline of upcoming filament changes
