Printer

Bambu Lab A1 Mini

How to reproduce

During Manual Filament Change, after resuming the print, the toolhead performs an incorrect movement sequence:

Travels to the model area first
Then moves to the purge tower

This results in a visible color dot/bleed on the model before purging occurs.

Additionally, when the nozzle reaches the purge tower:

A large filament blob is extruded
The toolhead rubs aggressively over the blob, causing unstable motion and potential print artifacts

Reproduce:
Slice a multi-color model using Manual Filament Change
Enable purge tower
Start print
When prompted:
Pause occurs
Manually insert new filament
Resume print
Observe:
Initial travel to model before purge
Blob formation and nozzle rubbing at tower

Actual results

Toolhead moves to model before purge → causes unintended color deposition
Excess filament accumulates at purge start → nozzle collides/rubs against blob

Expected results

Expected Behavior
After resume, toolhead should:
Move directly to purge tower
Perform purge/prime
Then resume printing on model
Purge tower behavior should:
Avoid excessive blob formation
Ensure smooth, controlled extrusion without collision or dragging
