Is there an existing issue for this feature request?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Sometimes it is necessary to calibrate an any parameter. For example, for some specific task, plastic, or printer settings. It is now possible to do this using the "Height Range Modifier" by adding it to the model and changing the required parameter to the desired value. However, this requires a lot of manual input.

The proposed solution significantly speeds up and simplifies the creation of any calibration g-code for any parameter available for modification.

Which printers will be beneficial to this feature?

All

Describe the solution you'd like

The solution is to add automatic Height Range Modifier generation with changing the required parameter by the required amount in a given height range and step.

You can implement this through the dialog box in the Calibration menu. Parameters for the example:

  1. The parameter to change
  2. The initial value
  3. The final value
  4. Step
  5. Initial height
  6. Final height

After clicking OK, a Height Range Modifier is created on the selected object with the specified values.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Manually creating a Height Range Modifier and manually changing the desired parameter. A fully functional solution, but it requires a lot of time and manual input.
