Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.3.2-beta2

Operating System (OS)

Linux

OS Version

Bazzite (Fedora)

Additional system information

No response

Printer

VzBot/Trident hybrid

How to reproduce

I have several custom filament presets named things like "Custom ASA". As I used VzBot profiles as a starting point most of them have "inherits": "Vzbot Generic ASA". Filaments are set as just "ASA" etc in my AFC panel.

Actual results

When I click the sync filament button, one of two things will happen:

If I have both "Custom ASA" and "VzBot Generic ASA" enabled in the filament list, the sync will select "VzBot Generic ASA" rather than my custom entry.

If I disable "VzBot Generic ASA", leaving my custom one as the only ASA profile enabled, the sync will apparently not see any ASA profiles available and will default to "Generic PLA".

Expected results

Since my "Custom ASA" profile has "type: ASA" in the settings, sync should see it as an option and select it when syncing ASA from Moonraker.

Ideally custom profiles would be prioritised over built-ins, but that's less important since the user can always disable any profiles other than the ones they want to use.

Project file & Debug log uploads

Project file not applicable - happens with an empty plate.
