Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.3.2-beta2 Build 7e63fce7

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

Windows 11 Pro

Additional system information

Ryzen Z1 Extreme
24GB RAM (8GB dedicated as VRAM)
1TB SSD
Connected to dual external monitors

Printer

Flashforge AD5X 0.6 nozzle (custom profile derived from the stock one)

How to reproduce

  1. See 3MF file below.
  2. Notice the presence of negative parts.
  3. Slice the model.
  4. Notice how the negative parts are not applied.
  5. Remove the 15.5mm - 19.0mm height modifier (you can leave the other one in place)
  6. Slice the model again.
  7. Notice how the negative parts are now applied.

This does not consistently happen for all models. This particular model is for a version of an enclosure for the AD5X that mounts the MMU on the left. When I set the right-mount part up the same way (which has the same structure in the area where the negative parts are), using the exact same models for the negative parts, and same layer height modifiers, everything works fine. That's why I've included a specific model that triggers it.
