Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.3.2-rc

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

11

Additional system information

No response

Printer

MK4S

How to reproduce

  1. Previously have prusalink working for months
  2. Reset prusalink/prusaconnect settings on printer
  3. Get new API key from prusaconnect https://connect.prusa3d.com/printer/yourprinterUIDhere/settings
  4. Go to "device" tab in orcaslicer
  5. Get presented with API key prompt
  6. Enter API key
  7. Click Login

Actual results

API key field goes blank, nothing else happens.

On the API key prompt it says You can find it in Settings -> Network -> PrusaLink. This appears to be incorrect. I believe the API key must be obtained from Prusa Connect
This is what the hardware shows in that menu:

Expected results

The printer should connect or log in to prusalink, since both prusaconnect and the printer are connected to each other already.

Project file & Debug log uploads

Logs show a lot of this

[warning] 2026-03-03 14:41:55.720591[Thread 0x00003590]:Slic3r::BBLNetworkPlugin::get_version, get_version not supported, return 00.00.00.00!

anonymised debug_Tue_Mar_03_15_02_23_30924.log.0.txt

Checklist of files to include

  • Log file
  • Project file

Anything else?

Logs show the correct local IP is being used for the printer. I can connect to that IP in my browser and it just prompts me for username and password: http://192.168.178.***/
