Is there an existing issue for this feature request?

  • I have searched the existing issues

My print has an 'Overhang wall' between some supports and the main object. however, it wants to print the Overhang wall parallel to a 240mm wall vs. to the supports which are 8mm away. That is followed by 2 Internal solid infill rows. I can control the direction of the solid infill rows with the slicer in the Strength, Infill, Solid infill rotation template. However, I can't find a solution to turn the Overhang wall 90 degrees.

Orca 2.3.1 build f2d10a0
Win 11
Printer: Anycubic Kobra S1C, with Rinkals and Orca slicer (NOT Anycubic slicer next.)

Attached screen shots show the issue.

Which printers will be beneficial to this feature?

Klipper

Describe the solution you'd like

Like in strength, Infill, Solid infill rotation template. Would like to be able to change the direction of the Overhang wall to utilize supports.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  1. Have unselected Quality, Overhangs, Detect overhang walls. Which replaces with Bridge. However, I wasn't able to modify that direction either.
