ROG Ally X, stock configuration (Ryzen Z1 Extreme, 24GB RAM, 1TB SSD) with external monitor / keyboard / mouse

Printer

Flashforge AD5X

How to reproduce

Situation 1

  1. Load an STL file into Orca.
  2. Make some changes to the STL file, then use "Reload from disk" in Orca.
  3. Automatic variable layer height will no longer work correctly for the entire model.
  4. Saving and reloading the 3MF file will fix it.

Situation 2

  1. Load an STL file into Orca.
  2. Apply a height range modifier to this STL.
  3. Automatic variable layer height will no longer work correctly for the section of the model covered by the height range modifier. The only workaround is to remove the modifier altogether while applying the variable layer heights.

In both cases, existing variable layer height data (whether automatic or manual) is preserved, but cannot be edited.

Actual results

See above.

Expected results

Everything should function the same way it does without these "trigger steps" being taken.
