Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

Windows 10

Additional system information

Printer

Snapmaker U1/Bambu A1

How to reproduce

  1. Add a Bambu printer profile
  2. Add the Snapmaker U1 profile
  3. Slice a print
  4. Switch back to the bambu profile

Actual results

Got my U1 yesterday and today I added it to Orca Slicer 2.31 and sliced a print. However, after I did that I tried to switch back to my A1 profile and it was gone, along with all the filament presets, and the default bambu presets. I tried relogging, reinstalling orca 2.31, deleting the U1 profile and every trace of it I could find in /appdata/roaming/orcaslicer, but they just refused to show up. I can still see them in /appdata/roaming/orcaslicer/user, but they don't appear. Then I randomly tried adding a H2D profile and suddenly my Bambu stuff reappeared.

Expected results

The slicer should switch back to the Bambu profile without issues.

Anything else?

I went to add the U1 again thinking it was just a one time bug. Then I went back to my Bambu A1 profile and tried slicing and it kept throwing an error(see photo): Failed to generate G-code for invalid custom G-code. So I restarted Orca and everything Bambu was gone again. I've tried doing the same things as before, but its not working. I also keep getting an Add G92 E0 to layer_gcode error, even though I didn't change any gcode.

Earlier today my U1 filament presets disappeared as well. And currently, my A1 profile is back but the build plate is offset from the grid. I thought it might be just a visual glitch but I tried slicing something and it said it was outside of plate boundaries. The default A1 profile works fine though.
