Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.3.1

Operating System (OS)

macOS

OS Version

macOS Tahoe 26.1

Additional system information

2024 Macbook Pro M4, 14", 16gb ram
macOS Tahoe 26.1
OrcaSlicer 2.3.1

Printer

Bambu Labs X1C

How to reproduce

  1. Open any .3mf in OrcaSlicer 2.3.1 on an (apple silicon) MacBook Pro running macOS Tahoe 26.1
  2. Try to pan the image with the normal keyboard + trackpad/mouse click combo for pan: hold Control, then immediately double click -and don't let your finger leave after the 2nd tap- and when you drag your finger on the trackpad the image should pan/move up/down/left/right per normal.
  3. Notice this doesn't work, or took you multiple times to get it to work.

Actual results

The image does NOT pan, or only pans once every 3-4ish tries.

Expected results

I expect the image to Pan like it always did before macOS Tahoe.

Project file & Debug log uploads

N/A – this isn't a problem with a specific file, but Orca Slicer itself on macOS Tahoe.

Checklist of files to include

  • Log file
  • Project file

Anything else?

This issue isn't present before macOS Tahoe as far as I remember. Also seems to ONLY effect the built-in trackpad on my MacBook Pro - my desktop Mac mini M2 Pro with a BT/wireless Apple Magic Trackpad 2 does NOT have this issue (on same exact OS and Orca version).

The Orca nightly beta version (I tried the one which was up Nov 14, 2025) does NOT have this problem - but had other issues which likewise making it unusable for me, so I had to revert back to the normal 2.3.1 regular release.

Made a short YouTube (unlisted) video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqFlxEE4fxU
