Is there an existing issue for this problem?

  • I have searched the existing issues

OrcaSlicer Version

2.3.2

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

W10

Additional system information

No response

Printer

Qidi P4

How to reproduce

  1. Set Internal Solid Infill Line Width to any line width
  2. Slice Part
  3. Check on Bridges
  4. See that the line width in Internal Solid Infill corresponds to bridges as well

Actual results

See that the line width in Internal Solid Infill corresponds to bridges as well.
Surprisingly when activating Extra Perimeters on overhangs this issue disappears.

Expected results

Bridges should be untouched by changing this feature. I'm not sure why the slicer is tying these settings together, especially when bridging is a very sensitive setting that will be thrown out of whack if I decide to change something as insignificant as Internal Infill Line Width.

Project file & Debug log uploads

Project.zip

Checklist of files to include

  • Log file
  • Project file

Anything else?

With how much emphasis has been put on bridging in the past few updates, it would make sense to rip the line width depedicy away from Internal Infill and give it its own setting. Perhaps in the bridging section?
