Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Open-Archiver does not appear to currently support ingestion of Exchange Online In-Place Archive mailboxes.
In environments where retention policies automatically move mail older than 12 months to the archive mailbox via the Managed Folder Assistant, the primary mailbox only contains recent items. As a result, new Open-Archiver deployments only ingest approximately the most recent year of mail and miss historical content stored in the archive.
Describe the solution you'd like
Support ingestion of Exchange Online In-Place Archive mailboxes alongside the primary mailbox.
Ideally, Open-Archiver would:
This would allow full historical mailbox coverage on initial ingestion without requiring administrative workarounds.
Describe alternatives you've considered
As a temporary workaround, it is possible to move mail from the Online Archive back into the primary mailbox, allow Open-Archiver to ingest it, and then allow the Managed Folder Assistant to re-archive the content.
However, this approach is operationally inconvenient and does not scale well, so native archive mailbox support would be preferable.
Additional context
I am unsure whether this limitation is due to current Open-Archiver implementation or a Microsoft Graph constraint, but it would be helpful to confirm feasibility.
Thank you to the team for the excellent work on the project.
